202 - Town hall meeting for solar electricity project in Tesqopa

Greetings from Tesqopa where we are rebuilding Nineveh one project at a time! We are excited about our largest project to date, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID.) This project will provide solar electric energy for 100 homes, as well as 40 streetlights and 30 farms will have their water-motor powered. It is not an easy task, as the idea of solar energy is new and misunderstood in the region, but we hope this project will create an electrical revolution in the entire country! Speakers included Shlama board member Noor Matti, lead engineer Revn Qoja, other engineers from Alqosh and Tesqopa, the town's priest Salar Kajo and Mayor Basem Billo.
