Shlama from the 1,400-year-old village of Armash, where we are thrilled to announce the completion of our largest project of 2024! Thanks to the generous support of our French partners, L’Œuvre d’Orient and Agir Pour La Paix Avec Les Chrétiens d’Orient, we have successfully constructed 800 meters of irrigation canals in this historic, mountainous village in the Atrush sub-district. Armash has long faced challenges in sustaining livelihoods, with most residents relying on agriculture and farming. These new cemented canals will significantly increase water accessibility, enabling farmers to cultivate more crops and improve their yields. This project also unlocks the potential for greater utilization of the village’s farmland, and we are hopeful this marks just the beginning of further initiatives to empower this resilient community!
