278 - Rehabilitating the water-well in the 128 neighborhood of Ankawa

Shlama from Ankawa, where we’ve successfully restored water to the 128-neighborhood after years of severe drought! The community has long struggled with water scarcity, with some homes enduring nearly a month without access to water. Thanks to our collective efforts, the well—previously out of service for years—is now flowing again after drilling 550 meters and installing modern piping systems. This project was made possible by the support of our partners: the Assyrian Foundation of America, Assyrians Without Borders, the Assyria Foundation of the Netherlands, and the Assyrian Federation in Germany. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped coordinate this effort.
