Marilyn is from Ankawa, and it's where she has lived all her life. She's part of the new generation of Ankawa, where they are leading their town to new developments never seen in the their area before. She majored in literature and received her bachelor's degree in 2018 from Erbil's Salahaddin University. She speaks 3 languages fluently - Assyrian, Arabic and Kurdish, and has good knowledge of English. Marilyn has become a well known person within the community due to her local modeling career. She joined Shlama Foundation in 2018 as an assistant administrator, and now is the project manager of the Ankawa-Shaqlawa region, where she manages all projects in the two towns. Like all volunteers, Marilyn happily gives her time and effort for the sake of serving our people.
